The cottage had not been lived in for a while and needed total repair. A cast concrete extension was removed and the original cottage was taken back to the stonework and restored including a replacement red diamond roof, new sliding sash windows, and a new dry stone wall finished with turf. As part of the renovation a new opening was formed in the south gable allowing for a new large sliding glass door and a future extension. The V lining in the attic bedrooms, the new fittings and furniture were carefully chosen in close collaboration with the owners. The result is an escape for a busy Glasgow couple and their 2 boys with the prospect of future expansion.

“Mary… We very much hope to be able to work with you again in the future and to thank you for your professionalism throughout this project.”
